Batik Table Toppers

I always have a stack of blocks and projects that just need a little more work until they are finished. I like to do something with these when I am between projects.
The other day I looked at these two batik table toppers and realized all they needed was the binding put on them.
The batiks are from past projects and quilts that I have made as an Island Batik ambassador. I’m not sure what collection I used but I didn’t have enough for the binding.
Fortunately, I had a teal print from one of the very first projects I did for Island Batik and it matched! I have noticed that collections seem to coordinate very well with other collections.
It took me a little bit to remember why I made the blocks in the first place.
Last February I shared a Table Topper Tutorial made with some beautiful pink batiks and I made the Table Topper Tutorial again in teal but in a larger size.
I have no idea why I never finished it…..well…..okay, I think something else came up!
Now that I have this UFO out I’ll have to see about finishing it. It measures about 30″ x 30″.
I have been trying to use up leftover blocks right away (this doesn’t always work) and that must be why I made these blocks which became table toppers.
This photo will give you a better idea of the leftover quilt blocks that I used. Don’t forget to check out my tutorial which shows how to easily make the blocks.

Very pretty. Good idea to have things to finish up between other projects. My ‘finish up’ things ARE projects. lol
Those are really pretty. The colors are fabulous….. so calming.
So very Pretty! I hadn’t even realized that the binding fabric was from another Island Batik until you said so. The colors and patterns really do coordinate quite well. Your now finished blocks are beautiful! I LOVE the blues and then see the Pinks and they are so Pretty as well. Thank you for sharing your wonderful tutorials. I “almost” want to make some quilt blocks. Hmmm…
That teal botanical batik is beautiful! Island Batiks really makes some beautiful lines! Thank you for the tutorials!
