I showed a couple peeks earlier of the project I have been working on. Actually……it is 2 batik table runners!

I applied some Heat & Bond Lite to some batiks and then used my Sizzix Big Shot to cut out the applique pieces. I used a couple different dies.

I did some free motion applique and then some pebbling in the background.

I then did a quilt as you go around the center design. I was hoping to get a tutorial on the runners done but forgot to take photos of all the steps so let me know if you would be interested in me doing a tutorial.

When Vicki from the Quilting Lodge asked me what I would like to work on this time I told her batiks of course and said to send whatever she wanted and I would design a project plus make the same for her. One of these is on it’s way to her now!

The Quilting Lodge has been my sponsor since last year when Vicki and Judy sent me the beautiful fabrics to make my Worldly Lil Twister quilt. Thank you both so much for all you do!

This tutorial continues to be one of the most viewed posts on my blog, if you missed it just click on the picture and it will open in a new window.
