Sew Sampler Box January 2025

I have really been enjoying the different subscription boxes I have been purchasing lately but I have to say that the Sew Sampler boxes from Fat Quarter Shop are always my favorite.

There may be something that I’m not interested in but what I do like is always great to receive.

English Paper Piecing

I started out looking at the thread I received. This was different – 50 wt Scanfil Coconut Milk 100% organic cotton thread. I’ve never used that before and I’m always up for trying new thread.

Then I saw the EPP (English Paper Piecing) pack and pattern. Oh boy! Next up was the Gold n Glide Milliners needles. There was everything in this box to make a English paper pieced project.

Sunday Brunch Charm Packs and Fresh Start Pattern

Things started looking better when I saw the Fresh Start pattern! If you didn’t want to do EPP, use the charm squares to make this quilt.

These are beautiful fabrics and it will be so much fun to use them. Sunday Brunch is by BasicGrey and if you watch my video you’ll get a closer look at them.

Quilt Patterns

Here is a look at the quilt patterns that were included in the January box.

Lori Holt Monthly Subscription

I am working on the Vintage Christmas QAL using Lori Holt’s pattern and fabrics and I decided to subscribe the Fat Quarter Shop’s Lori Holt fabric subscription. There are 12 fat quarters that you receive every month.

Last month I bought her Autumn 12 fat quarter bundle that will go well with these.
