Island Batik Ambassador Box #2
I received the beautiful purple grouping of Lavender Sage strips along with two 2 yard coordinating fabrics. One is a light and the other is a dark. This collection is very similar to the collection I used for my Spinners quilt.
Take a look at the beautiful fabrics in this 10″ square stack called Ocean Odyssey, I can’t wait to open this!
I received another 10″ stack called Paisley Dot Brights. I received a 2½” strip set of this same collection in my first Island Batik ambassador box in February along with a pink and red yardage piece. Bright batiks are always fun to work with!
I made two different baby quilts with them – Modern Batik Challenge baby quilt one and Modern Batik Challenge baby quilt two.
Save this for later!
Don't worry, I promise not to spam you.
I also received a 5 yard piece of neutral which will really come in handy for quilt projects and three 1 yard pieces of Check It Out.
Basic are always good to have and I received one yard pieces of a white, black and grey batik. There was also some Aurifil thread in different weights that will be fun to try out.Another group of basics, these are always great to have.
This is a group of basic batiks in ½ yard pieces. I really like the addition of basic batiks that are in stock all the time and….these just might coordinate with my surprise package of batiks!
I also received several packages of Hobbs batting. There is a queen size cotton batting, two 60″ x 60″ throw sizes – one of 100% wool and the other a cotton wool blend. I can’t wait to try the 100% wool.

Hello Connie Dear. Your box number 2 from Island Batik is another beautiful array of amazing fabrics. I have been unpacking non-stop and today I was able to put my gorgeous blues and greens Table Topper and Placemats on my patio table. They are so gorgeous and really brighten up the old dreary furniture. Thank you again for thinking of me and for being such a dear friend. Settling into St. George Utah…Finally! <3
Pretty stuff! I know you will do it justice. 🙂
How lucky you are to be an Island Batiks ambassador! I know it’s work, but the Batiks are wonderful. I ❤️❤️ the Ocean Odyssey and the Check it Out. If you ever have leftover scraps, I could help you use them up! 🤩🤣☺️
