Curated Blooms Fabric Bundle

I like buying fabric from Green Fairy Quilts and Judi Madsen – the owner, just came out with her first fabric line for Riley Blake. The colors are beautiful and the 21 fat quarter bundle is on sale so I bought it!

Curated Blooms Selvages

I opened all of the fat quarters when I did my video and then I cut off the selvage edge. Not all of them had that but I did get a pretty good selection. I normally cut off about 1 inch of the design and then I sewed the strips together.

These are great for mug rugs, pouches or anything that sounds fun like these that I have made.

Now I just need to make something with this!

Curated Blooms Fat Quarter Bundle and Scrap Bag

Scrap Bag

The scraps are from the Leila Boutique’s Nest collection, thanks Sue for letting me know!

I have bought quite a few Scrap Bags in the past but this one is just beautiful! You never know what you are going to get but I think most of them now aren’t ones with the selvage edge anymore. Normally those are my favorite but this bag just makes me want to make a spring quilt!

Right now the cheapest price on the Scrap Bags is at Green Fairy Quilts.

This bag has enough strips of one fabric that I can use for my binding and all of the strips are 2½-inches wide.

  1. Your scrap bag is all Leila Boutique’s Nest. I bought tons of it when it came out and I’ve made two quilts with it plus leftovers galore. I will enjoy seeing what you do with it. I like the Blooms fabric collection too. I bought a few scrap bags a few years ago and they definitely were mixes of collections and many weren’t quite 2 1/2″ because of the selvages. I will be using them for some easy donation quilts next year.
