August Color of the Month Challenge 2026

The color for August is PURPLE. This is a color that I really like to mix with teal and have used it many times in my quilt projects.

Purple Churn Dash Quilt Blocks

I continued making the Churn Dash quilt blocks using my leftover batiks from my Island Batik ambassador quilt projects. I used a mixture of batiks and cotton quilting fabrics. I do this quite often. The white is a premium muslin.

This is a fast and easy quilt block to make.
