Merry Christmas to all who celebrate it! We are fortunate that our weather is pretty mild and we were able to spend Christmas Eve with our daughter in her new home. I forgot to take pictures but it was fun seeing so many of my quilted Christmas projects that she decorated with.
I hope all of you have a safe and wonderful day!
Welcome to another Linky Tuesday at Freemotion by the River!
How many times have you made blocks for a quilt project and then realized you just didn’t care for the way they turned out?
Micki who blogs at From Four Patches to Flying Geese shared a post showing blocks that she made from a neat tutorial and then didn’t care for. Like many of us, she put the blocks away and just recently pulled them out and is experimenting with designs to use up the blocks.
I think she has some neat ideas! Recently I did some cleaning in my studio and gave away a huge box of orphan blocks that I have made in the last couple years. There are a couple ladies who will make quilts for charity with them.
Vicki from Vicki’s Crafts and Quilting shared some great information about a 100% wool pressing mat. I’ve been looking at these and now it is definitely on my “must have” quilt supply list!
Thanks for sharing and please grab a Featured button. Visit the Linky Tuesday page for the buttons.
