Have you ever made a Bowtie block? They are so easy to make and there are so many different ways you can use them in a quilt project! There is nothing better than a “Sadie approved” quilt project! Builder Bob was gone on a fishing trip so she was stuck with me. I had to take about 20 photos to actually get one of her looking at me!
Here is a collage of just a few of them.
Have you seen the new AccuQuilt 10″ QUBE sets! These are so handy and you can make so many different things with the dies. I used the 10″ QUBE Companion Set-Corners to make the Bowtie blocks for this project.
If you don’t have the AccuQuilt GO! dies, a bowtie block can still be easily made. Stop back tomorrow and I’ll share that with you.
I used some leftover batiks from a quilt I made for Island Batik and it took just minutes to cut all of the pieces for this beautiful table topper!
Look how green the trees and grass are! One month from now the Walnut trees will be bare and the grass will probably be brown. I really like being able to hang my quilted batik Bowtie table topper over the deck rail.
