Welcome to another Linky Tuesday at Freemotion by the River!
Share your quilts, projects, or other posts with everyone!
I’ve got a ton of quilt projects going on right now but sometimes you just have to take a “fun” break. I sorted through my neutral Island Batik scraps and decided to sew some of them together and then add the little woven labels from Island Batik that I have been hanging on to. Can you guess what I’m going to make?
I also made more of the scrappy batik 9 patch blocks and square on point blocks. Several people thought a large quilt would be neat with the blocks……I do too but…it’s not going to happen. Notice my vintage iron? I love how heavy old irons are. I have the cord wrapped around the handle to keep it out of my way and the night light reminds me that the iron is on…..most of the time.
On Monday the X-Block blog Hop started, you can find the links to all of the blogs here on Sew Incredibly Crazy. I’m taking part and will be sharing my X-Block quilt project on the last day.
Did I mention there is a fantastic giveaway worth over $175! Don’t wait till the last day….go check it out after you leave here!
Daryl from Patchouli Moon Studio shared this unique way to display quilt blocks! Each one is beautiful and Daryl also hand painted the fabrics used in the out borders. She also has closeup photos of each applique block, check out her post!
