Welcome to another Linky Tuesday at Freemotion by the River!
Share your quilts or what you are working on with everyone!
I did it! I finished piecing my Mountains Reflections quilt top! I’m not sure when it will get quilted as I have several other quilt projects in the works. This is a big quilt, the size is 70″ x 84″. I ended up buying the backing for this quilt kit which was the grey fabric and I am trying to decide if I should just use it for a border and make the quilt bigger. This was a Quilting Project Kit that I bought from Craftsy.
If I added a 10 inch border I could end up with a quilt that is 90″ x 104″ which would be perfect for our king size bed. We finally have some nice weather and got the golf cart out. You can barely see it by the car.
There are some beautiful colors in this quilt. I have a feeling Builder Bob is going to think it is a little too wild for his taste.
Many of you remember our pelican Pelly that we took care of during a flood in 2014, when I saw Marney’s from Made by Marney newest paper-piecing block I immediately thought of Pelly! Be sure to check out the other birds that she has designed!
If you are wondering who Pelly was, just click on this photo to find the posts about him.
