Once again I spent a little time in between projects to start another quilt project. I know that doesn’t make sense but that is the way I take a little break and have a little relaxing fun. I pulled out the Lily & Loom charm squares and fat quarter bundle that I bought some time ago and the Clamshell die from AccuQuilt. The colors in this collection would be perfect for a baby quilt.

I think I may make another pillow like the Avalon Clamshell pillow tutorial I shared.I want to remind you that Craftsy has all of their kits, fabric, thread and notions on sale right now. The 4″ Clamshell die fits perfectly on 5 inch charm squares. I also was able to cut two 1½” squares from the leftovers. Those will get added to my stash of precuts.
AccuQuilt also has several great deals and current offers going on right now. This would be a great time to buy the AccuQuilt GO! Electric cutting system which includes the Electric cutter, 8 inch Qube set and more!
I received my Electric cutter from AccuQuilt several years ago and love using it. Put your die, fabric and mat in the electric cutter and you are done.
I am very fortunate to have a space that I can use to keep my AccuQuilt GO! Electric cutter ready to use at a moments notice.
See the glowing night light? I have that so I know when my cutter and more importantly my iron is on.
My iron doesn’t shut off and this helps me remember that it is still on. Believe me……this is handy!
In the bottom left corner you can see my AccuQuilt GO! cutter that I bought several years ago. It gets used by my neighbor and also my grandchildren get a kick out of turning the handcrank on the manual cutter.
Okay, time to get some free-motion quilting done and then I can get back to working on this project.
