Swirly is a quilt pattern that I made using the Alpine Ice collection from Island Batik. This quilt is 55″ x 55″ and could easily be made bigger. It is a fun design that is fast and easy to make.
I can’t believe I haven’t posted all week! I am taking a couple classes and I always unplug from everything when I do that, plus I’m starting to work on taxes…..ugh. I also have been working on a couple projects including a quilt I’ll be showing you tomorrow. We also had our family Christmas yesterday which was fun, especially since the weather cooperated and we didn’t have to worry about anyone driving in snow or ice. Looks like snow is coming again soon!
The Swirly quilt pattern cover is available from my Craftsy shop as a downloadable PDF file and also from my Etsy store.
The Alpine Ice collection is the same one I used for the Island Batik Four Seasons blog hop – you can get the free pattern and enter the giveaway by going to the Four Seasons Alpine Ice Blog Hop post. The giveaway ends February 2nd, 2018.
I also made a smaller one to use on our kitchen table. I used 4 of the blocks and added a border to get a table topper that is 30″ x 30″.
Swirly could be made in all kinds of different fabrics and colors. Choose 5 coordinating prints and a background fabric. You could also choose a multi-print for the border that is a combination of your prints.
