Are you ready for the holidays……is your house all decorated? I made a couple new pillows with Christmas fabrics to add to my Christmas decorations. I bet my daughter will grab them when she comes over for Christmas.Mini Scattered Christmas Pillows
I used a charm pack that I may have bought last year….or the year before. It is called 25th and Pine by BasicGrey.

This is the Mini Scattered pattern that I am still working on getting written. If you have my Scattered pattern it is just a miniature version.  Hopefully after the first of the year I will have the pattern done……I have two purple pillows that are almost finished.Christmas pillows scattered patternIt is always better if I can take photos outside on the deck.Christmas pillows scattered patternFor the quilting I just did straight line stitching. I didn’t use all of the Christmas fabrics in the charm pack so I added a few pieces to the back of my pillow as I wanted to use them up.Pillow front and backI made a couple pillow forms and….overstuffed them just a little bit. The pillows look great from the front but pull a little bit on the back.

Back of the Christmas Scattered pillowsIllusion…..when I went through all of my photos of the pillows I saw this one and had to share it. When I look at this I see….pin cushions. You really have no idea how big these are.Pin cushion scatteredJust sharing a closeup photo of the mini Christmas Scattered pillow quilting.Closeup of quilting on the Scattered Christmas pillowsI’ve been working playing in Photoshop making graphics for the holidays……that is so much fun!Merry and Bright ChristmasYou can always find tutorials by going to my Tutorial page. There is a section on pillow tutorials and also a Christmas category.Scattered Christmas Pillows

25th and Pine is one of my favorite fabric collections. I really love how your mini Scattered pillows show it off Connie!

Love those pillows Connie. I think Scattered is possibly my most favorite of all your patterns and lucky me, I just ordered that one late November along with a few others. YAY. I’ll look forward to how you made this smaller version at some point when you find the time.

Good Morning Connie! I have been following your blog for quite some time now and for some reason have not been commenting much. Very bad on my part because you always have wonderful projects and well written tutorials! A few days ago, I discovered your Spin The Wheel tutorial and pattern and instantly printed it out to make a couple of table toppers or pillows with for gifts. It is just lovely and I really love these envelope pillows that you made today! Thank you so much for sharing everything that you do! I know that I truly do appreciate the time and effort that you put into your blog and your pattern writing and tutorials! Have a fantastic creative day!

What a fun way to mix it up with the charm pack fabrics. Your pillows are beautful and they would make wonderful pin cushions in smaller versions…or get BIGGER pins. Merry Christmas Bliss Dear…

The pillows look great and I think I have mentioned how MANY mini packets I have. Will be waiting for the tutorial. I can also see it as a small wall hanging or a doll quilt.
