I feel like I took a mini vacation from blogging…..I haven’t blogged since last Tuesday. I have been doing tons of quilting though! Part 4 of En Provence was shown on Friday and it was so easy to make the purple triangle in a square blocks using my AccuQuilt GO! electronic cutter and die. It is always fun to layout the pieces that we have done so far, I really love the colors in this mystery quilt so far.
Four little piles of blocks for my mystery quilt.
I am linking up with Bonnie Hunter’s En Provence Part 4 Linky Party.
It has been a while since I did some wavy quilting so before I started quilting a secret project I practiced on a UFO from last spring. I also finished up a Christmas table runner for our neighbor and just did a simple stipple quilting on it.
I have several things that I am working on that I can’t share right now…..well…..maybe just a little peek. Both projects are made with Island Batik fabrics.
I am finishing up the quilting on a beautiful batik quilt for Spring Market. I have this half done and hope to get the rest of the quilting done today.
Little Sadie is loving the snow, she rolls and rolls and rolls! The other night we were out and she was having fun until we walked behind the house and the wind picked up. Once that wind hit her she immediately took off running to the door…….leaving me behind!
The Mississippi is covered in ice and snow, you would never want to take a chance on walking on it though. Last week it was so neat to hear the ice coming down the river before it slowly came to a halt. No drinks along the river for a couple months.
