The Island Batik blog hop Planes, Trains & Automobiles continues today. My post for the blog hop will be tomorrow but I couldn’t resist showing a few things that I have made with the beautiful French Roasted collection that will be shown today on the blogs listed below.
I also made a table runner for my AccuQuilt guest post last month and did a tutorial on it, you can find the Roasted Coffee table runner tutorial here.
The night before last I was talking to someone about my mini Scattered and I made a couple test blocks…..then a few more…..and then it was a challenge to see if I had enough of the collection left to make the mini quilt. I did and yesterday I got it all quilted.
I had just a little bit left so I made up a couple blocks with them and the rest was cut up into 1 1/2, 2 or 2 1/2 inch scrap blocks.
Here is the mini quilt and table runner out on the deck.
I had to take a picture of Iggy keeping warm with a new quilt. You can barely see all the geese sitting out on the ice……I’m ready for Spring!
Today the collection being shown is French Roasted and you’ll want to visit the blogs below to see what they have created with these beautiful fabrics.
