I finished up this beautiful block this morning made with a beautiful collection of batiks called Crystal Cove. It is Aurifil’s 2016 January Designer of the Month block designed by Heather Valentine. It is no surprise that I made it out of batiks.
I used the Crystal Cove collection that I will also use for my upcoming post as part of the Island Batik Planes, Trains & Automobiles Blog Hop in February.
I rearranged my design wall again last night. I had taken everything down to take photos and then left it blank. That lasted about 5 hours and I couldn’t stand it anymore. I also was going through things and….found this beautiful color wheel I had bought last fall with the intention of hanging it on my wall….I had forgotten I had it. It is by Joen Wolfrom who also teaches a class on Craftsy called Color Play for Quilters, she also included her e-book Color Play. I have been going through my wall hanging and I have several from past Valentine’s Day posts, I’m going to put a post together with all the links in it. I feel so much better with all the color on my wall!
