Desert Path Table Runner Tutorial
Last week I made a beautiful batik table runner and liked it so much….I had to make another one! I’m still not sure which one I like the best. I hope you enjoy this easy Desert Path Table Runner tutorial. The beautiful batiks I used for the table runners are from Island Batik’s new Fall collection called Desert Rose. This table runner is made from an assortment of fabrics in the group while the other runner was made using the same fabric for the Drunkard’s Path blocks and the plain blocks.
This table runner is very easy to make and the tutorial is really only a diagram to show you how to lay out the blocks for the design as it only uses 12 Drunkard’s Path blocks and 6 plain blocks.
My table runners are 12 x 24
If you would like to make the table runner and don’t have the AccuQuilt dies you can download templates for the Drunkard’s Path blocks.
Here is a diagram showing how to join the rows.
