We did a little visiting yesterday in Iowa City with family and I just had to share some photos of these sweeties. We had a wonderful lunch with Builder Bob’s sister and brother-in-law and afterwards……I would have loved to do what the dogs did…..take a nap. Little Heidi likes to sleep on top of the chair.
Lady is a gentle Greyhound that they rescued years ago. She always seems to have her head hanging over the edge of her bed…..sure doesn’t look very comfortable.
After looking at them…..I just might take a little nap today.

Thanks, Connie
My big dog gets kicked off his bed by the cat! Must be rather humiliating for him I would think! Love your pups!
I will not do in originality but your blog is so good you can not say anything other than THANK YOU!

Oh Lordy….how adorable!! We have one of those rainy overcast days and my Jackson is doing the very same thing. Good day for some slow stitiching
Love the pictures. My last dog used to sleep on top of the sofa cushions but he would also hang his head over the side of his bed. It always made me laugh.
I haven't tried paper piecing yet but am definitely getting inspired to try it! I'm glad this hop helped me to discover your blog. You have beautiful projects. I will think of using buttons in my display quilts – such a fun idea!
Aw – so sweet Connie! They look all tuckered out. My two are nestled in my lap right now, which makes for one handed hunt and peck typing. Okay, gotta go vote now!
My whippets have their heads hanging over their dog beds, too. I think they just have very long bodies and can't calculate where to put their buts so their heads don't hang over! 😉 Thanks for the doggie pics!
I haven't tried paper piecing yet-hope to soon! Island batiks are wonderful and you use them so well, Connie!
Awww adorable dogs! 🙂
It looks pretty relaxing to me. Is Heidi a King Charles spaniel? Our neighbor has a retired greyhound and it is such a loving dog.
