I have a couple things I plan on working on this week. I have a very small design wall behind the door in my quilt room and…..I haven’t looked at it in quite some time. Amazing what you can forget that you started!
I can’t remember what my plans were for this daisy……hmmm, it is time to make it into something.
I am going to start working on my Tinker Tote (like I really need a new tote). This is from the new class I signed up for at Craftsy and I know a couple of you are also taking the class. The tote is a quilt as you go and I am actually planning on sewing this on my “newer” sewing machine, the Husqvarna Sapphire 835.
My sweet neighbor Diana had picked up a kit that include the walking foot for my machine from Goodwill some time ago and……it is now mine. I never had a walking foot for this machine so I can’t wait to see how it works.
I goofed when I went to town and bought the utility cloth for the backing, I only bought 1 yard. It wasn’t enough (should have looked at the pattern) so I had to do some creative piecing. See the part for the handles…..I sewed pieces on to fit.
I have to say that this is really a great class, she shows everything step by step including one of my favorite ways to put in a zipper.
You can find this class here. This class is 63% off right now but the sale ends tonight!
I’m linking up with Judy at Patchwork Times, share what you’ve been working on to!
