Normally I am scrambling the last day of the month to get it done. I’m to the point that I decide what fabrics to use by what is left of my batik bundle. Here you see all the blocks so far. I didn’t put them in any special order but I can see that I will want to space the larger pieced blocks intermittently with the smaller pieced ones.
Now that I have made the block and this post I can get back to this project I started yesterday…..now that I’m looking at it I think I should have used a different color to outline the reds.
I still had the photo open in Photoshop so I drew some yellow lines to see if that helped. I think it does so I might have to go over the stitching….no way will I un-stitch it!
Here are the beautiful fabrics from Island Batik called Seasons Greetings. Now I’m going to fix the poinsettia and then free motion quilt this piece.
Have I mentioned lately how much I love being a Island Batik ambassador……just got word that a box of the new fall fabrics is coming my way!!
