Uncommonly Corduroy Quilt Patterns, Bag Patterns & More
Have you ever made a quilt out of corduory? When I first started quilting I made several quilts out of corduroy for my family and they loved them.
Uncommonly Corduroy: Quilt Patterns, Bag Patterns, and More by Stephanie Dunphy was sent to me by Martingale to review. There are 17 fun projects in the book and great information on working with corduroy for the first time. All of the projects can also be made out of cotton fabrics.
The quilt on the cover is shown two different ways and is a great way to use Dresden Plates in a quilt. There are full-size templates included in the book.
I Heart Dresdens really caught my eye and this is the first project I decided to make out of this book. I’ll show it to you tomorrow!
Here is another cute tote bag called Travels With You.
There are beautiful quilts in the book too. This quilt is called Saltwater Taffy and there are no curved pieces in it. There are very clear photos and directions for each project.
Corduroy Cobwebs is a perfect quilt for Halloween!
How about this cute tote called Just Jane, it is shown in 2 different colorways.
California Poppies is a fun design with rickrack on it!
Here is a sneak peek at the tote bag I made using the I Heart Dresdens pattern…..I’ll show you the completed tote tomorrow. Here is a link to my I Heart Dresdens tote bag.
