Ohio Star River Espresso Wall Hanging
Today I want to show you the Ohio Star die from AccuQuilt. You won’t believe how fast you can put together Ohio Star blocks! This die makes 12″ Ohio Star quilt blocks in no time at all!
The Ohio Star die can be used on the GO! Baby or any of the AccuQuilt GO! cutting machines. The fabrics I used are called Espresso by Island Batik, this is a beautiful batik collection that was sent to me. It is no longer available but using coordinating fabrics you can make a quilt that looks beautiful and coordinated.
The pieces really go together easily with the dog-eared corners.
For more detailed directions on making a star block be sure and read my Spinning Star quilt block tutorial.
Building the sections.
River Espresso Ohio Star Block Tutorial
Here are the sections ready to put together.
All pieced and ready to quilt.
All my quilting was done on my 15-91 vintage Singer, even the binding is done by machine.
I am working on a tutorial for this quilt and even if you don’t have the Ohio Star die you will be able to make it………(the die really does make it easier).
I even put a label on the back…..nothing fancy but it is there.
I always like to include a photo of the back.
I hope you enjoyed my quilt using the Ohio Star die.
