I think I have the most fun when I am experimenting….and if something doesn’t turn out right it is no big deal. Just the other day I showed you the Ellie Ann Tote and I still had a few of the charm squares left over so……I played.
My plan was to make this cute little credit card holder. I have had this one forever and love it but with all the fuel saver cards and quilt store cards…..it is too small. I still had the heavy duty vinyl that I had used to make my sewing machine table cover a couple years ago so I cut a scrap of it. I also have a drawer of zippers….do you buy them when they go on sale like I do? The color isn’t a perfect match but it works for me.
It didn’t take me long to realize that even though I wanted it a little bigger…..it was a lot bigger! No problem, I’ll just make it into something else.
I normally use a little bigger pouch for my necessities – maybe I could keep lots of money in this one!
I am heading to my daughter’s house as they are going to a conference and I’ll be doing the grandma duty. I am even going to be good and NOT take my computer so when you read this post tomorrow morning I won’t be on and I haven’t had a chance to check out all the wonderful Linky Tuesday links. I’ll be home Wednesday night so I didn’t have to pack very much…..lots of room in my tote!
