I decided to whip up a little table topper for St Patrick’s Day.
When I got my box of Island Batik fabrics the other day there was one little fat quarter all by itself. Can you see all the cute little shamrocks on it? I just had to make something with it.
I used Heat n Bond Lite as my fusible for the four leaf clovers and the shamrock. I used some Aurifil thread for the free motion quilting. My background is white and I only have a creme thread but it worked!
The little table topper is approximately 15 inches square and I just did some simple echo quilting on it. I had just enough fabric left to make my 2 1/2 inch wide binding.
Don’t look too close at my plant……yes, it is fake.
