There is nothing like a scrappy quilt. This one has lots and lots of oldies in it…..have you noticed that recently I’ve been going through my old UFOs (unfinished objects) and trying to complete some projects……it has been fun. I found a box of blocks and then made a few more for this quilt.
Our weather has been so hot and humid that we are spending most of the time inside. I did get up early this morning and had coffee outside on the deck with just a little breeze.
Xander is still sleeping…..we haven’t been doing much other than playing some games on the computer. I had hoped we would be able to take a lot of walks and Bob said this front is supposed to pass through today so maybe we’ll have some decent weather tomorrow. Bob is anxious to take us out in his fishing boat. I hope we don’t see more snakes!
The size is approximately 32 x 40, a nice size for a lap quilt.
The quilt is all washed and dried and has that soft feeling I love.
I love looking at all the old fabrics that have been in my stash for a long, long time. This is a very simple pattern that is a great way to use up your scraps. I should do up a pattern and make another one with a different size block.
