I just love her Texas Teardrops pattern and can’t wait to get started on this. I have the pattern and I’m going to have fun working on this. You can see the whole schedule and some of the neat fabrics she has picked out here. I haven’t decide if I will do it in batiks or prints…….hmmmmm
I finished block 3 of the Quilty Barn Along, I wish I would have put a few blocks in it from the background to separate the colors a little.
I’ll add this block to the other 2 I have finished for the Quilty Barn Along that Lori from Bee In My Bonnet recently started. I didn’t make another red one yet and if you missed the first 2 you can find them in this post.
The giveaway for the Happy Town fat quarters has ended and the winner is Margaret. Congrats and I will be contacting you shortly!
I also had this on my design wall……I started this about a year ago and then took it down. When I was cleaning my quilt room last week I saw it and all the batiks I had saved for this project and decided it was time to make the border so I would know where I was at with the fabrics.
This is a pattern in a book by Judy Martin called Rainbow’s End. My girlfriend bought the book when we were in Des Moines, Iowa……gosh time flies…..that was a year and a half ago! I didn’t make the quilt the size it was in the book and now I have to figure out how to get the correct width of the borders so it will fit the blocks correctly. Now that is a challenge!
