I finished up another small quilt using the blocks I made for the Garden Fence block tutorial. I don’t have it listed on my tutorial page yet but the link will take you to it. I really, really love the bright colors in this one! Most of the fabrics are from Me and My Sister Designs, their fabrics are always so cheerful and fun.
I was lucky enough to have a nice size piece of peach solid to use on the back and the quilting is a BIG free motion stitch. I couldn’t believe how fast it quilted up.
Bo Jangles is a cutie who is still skittish around me, fortunately Builder Bob was in the room and of course that is who she is looking at……..sigh……..I don’t think she’ll ever get used to me.
I’m not sure if I want to show you a closer look at the blocks…..or just another peak at Bo.
The quilt size is 30 x 40. I’ll have to see what my granddaughters think of the colors….I think this would make cute quilts for their bunk beds.
For the last couple of days I was helping Builder Bob on his job. 32 sheets of 4 x 8 plywood got 2 coats of white paint and are now hung on the ceiling of the shop he is working on. Yesterday afternoon the weather was nice and I started cleaning out my flower beds, the neighbor was planting potatoes….I think spring might be here!
