Have you seen the new cute line of fabrics called Happy Town? They are designed by Jacquelynne Steves whose blog is The Noble Wife. You’ll be seeing more of them on my blog soon, as she is a new sponsor and is sending me some fabrics to make a project. I can’t wait to play with fun colors and fabrics.
The fabric is available for purchase now at Fat Quarter Shop – click here for the Happy Town fabrics, as well as other online retailers and of course, your favorite Local Quilt Shop!
If you would like a free quilt pattern just click here on the quilt below for a free .pdf pattern.
All of the royalties from the sales of this fabric line will be donated to Quilts for Kids (QuiltsForKids.org)
There is also a Quilt Contest you can enter. The deadline is April 15th and you can find the rules and entry form – here.
Also, any quilts entered in the contest will be donated to hospitalized children through Quilts for Kids, and the winning quilts will be displayed at International Quilt Market in Portland, Oregon in May. The top prize is $500 cash, second prize is $250 cash, and there is a special category for quilters under age 16.
I want to show you one more peek at Jacquelynne’s artistry, this is a panel that would make a cute quilt!
