I thought I would share a update on the Nyan Cat quilt that I started last week, you can click here to read more about it. I have 3 more rainbow rows to add and then I will probably add a plain border and get it quilted.
It sure doesn’t look like a mug rug does it! My grandson helped me hold it outside….in 90 degree weather so we could get a picture before I took him home.
I didn’t get it finished before he left but it is a main priority to get done.
The grand puppies also left, boy was that a long 11 days and Fez didn’t get potty trained. I sure forgot how much work it is and I don’t miss going outside every hour. Other than that it was kind of fun having them.
All of the rocks you see under my deck came from the Mississippi River in front of our house. I spent the first summer here taking them from the shore and when I ran out of flat ones I went out into the water to find them.
I didn’t want lattice under deck and even after 10 years it is still holding up and gets very few weeds. I have planted hostas in spots which seem to do very well.
I know somewhere I have a photo of Xander under here when I first built this, he was a lot shorter then!
