Horses by the River

When you live along the river you get to see many interesting things, but this was a first for us. We were sitting downstairs and I thought I heard a sound like horses but didn’t really believe it. It was! I missed him going by the first time so I grabbed the camera and waited for him to come back. He must have gone to the Lighthouse for a sandwich.

Horses by the River

This was on Sunday and it was getting ready to rain. He stopped for a minute to talk with us and that is a 2-month-old colt…….how neat!

Horses by the River

We were joking when he first went by about whether or not he had a horse poop scooper……..imagine our surprise when we went out and saw the gift we were left. Usually, we have goose poop all over.

The rain really started coming down so away he went. I guess he lives about a mile up the hill.

Builder Horse pooper Scooper Bob cleaned up the road 🙂
