Horses by the River

We were sitting downstairs and I thought I heard a sound like horses but didn’t really believe it. It was! I missed him going by the first time so I grabbed the camera and waited for him to come back. He must have gone to the Lighthouse for a sandwich.
This was on Sunday and it was getting ready to rain. He stopped for a minute to talk with us and that is a 2-month-old colt…….how neat!
We were joking when he first went by about whether or not he had a horse poop scooper……..imagine our surprise when we went out and saw the gift we were left. Usually, we have goose poop all over.
The rain really started coming down so away he went. I guess he lives about a mile up the hill.
Builder Horse pooper Scooper Bob cleaned up the road 🙂
The colt is adorable!!
You didn't mention that you live near a lighthouse! I volunteered at the Cape Florida LH for 10 years.
That Bob of yours is certainly a man of many talents – he's a keeper!
How fun!!! Sorry about the gift.
Fun, fun, fun!
how cute is that!!? but no brelly for the ponies??? unfair, I say, unfair!
Builder Bob sure is a handy fellow to have around!
We've seem horses occasionally since we lived here. But not a horse drawn wagon. Interesting.
Always love your slice of life by the river…thanks, Kath
I see horses and cowboys riding horses all the time, but seldom a "horse drawn" wagon. How fun!
That horse poop will be good for your grass!
Oh what neat pictures , great looking horses especially the colt , how cute is that .
SO awesome!!
Growing up on a farm; no stranger to horses. But we don't them out and about like this anymore…lovely picture; even before the pooper scooper.
