Blogger’s Quilt Festival Spring 2012

I wanted to share my favorite quilt in the Blogger’s Quilt Festival. This is my Kaleidoscope QAL that just kept growing and growing. I finished it last August and it was the first time I had worked with such bright colors.

I added the HST border to make the quilt big enough for our king size bed and we just put it back on the bed a couple weeks ago for a summer look.

I learned I love bright and bold colors and how the additional of an extra border or two can really change the look of a design.

I love your idea of quilting outside. I'm with you, improved weather [even in Calif] just calls us to be outside or even work in the yard. That's where I've been, too, MIA in the sunshine! lol.
