Windblown Ohio Star Pillow Tutorial

Windblown Ohio Star Tutorial

It is always fun to use extra quilt blocks for pillows. Sometimes you just want to try a block once and don’t want to make more for a quilt. What I do……make a pillow! I used my Windblown Ohio Star block to make this Fall pillow.Windblown Ohio Star Tutorial

Here is the original block.

Remember the block I made using My EQ Boutique – Here is my original post – My EQ Boutique block and String Flower blocks

I just added a border to make it about a 16 inch square and then I stipple quilted it.

I just made a envelope back, fast and easy.

Now here is a colorful assortment of pillows! I just couldn’t resist taking a picture of all of them.

And here is something I played with in Photoshop to just show some variations in color. I could have done this in Electric Quilt 7 but I was already editing photos in Photoshop.
