Beautiful Fabrics for quilting Fat Quarter Bundles

I am sure I’m not the only quilter that has a hard time opening a beautiful fat quarter bundle of fabrics. Last week I purchased the neat bundle of 40 fat quarters of Little Ruby by Bonnie & Camille for Moda.

Look at the beautiful ribbons that hold the bundle together! This was one of the Fat Quarter Shop Fat Quarter Bundles.
I have no idea what I’m going to make with them but……I have a feeling it will be a quilt for our bed.

3 Sisters Fat Quarter Bundle

Did you notice the other bundle of fat quarter fabrics? Do you recognize the collection? I have gently “aged” this fat quarter bundle….it is 3 Sisters Favorites 2014.

I keep waiting and waiting to open the bundle….after I figure out what I want to make. Tell me I’m not the only one who does this!

A couple of weeks ago I bought the Boundless Botanical fat quarter bundle and blogged about it……having great plans to make another colorway pillow with them…..it hasn’t happened yet. I even mentioned I might be buying more of the Boundless collection and I did!

This is the Boundless Botanical Rainbow fat quarter bundle. This bundle actually has the colors I would prefer to make in my pillow.

Now that you have looked at all of the beautiful fat quarter bundles I’ll show what I am actually working on right now.

This month the Island Batik ambassadors are sharing any project that has applique in it. Yesterday I pulled out my beautiful Island Batik Coastal Mist 2 ½” strips and some yardage and started creating a little something.

  5. I’m also guilty of holding on to bundles way longer than I should. But I did just start using a 30s bundle when I began the Farm Girl Vintage quilt blocks. It was time, and I’ve enjoyed using them.
