Coastal Mist Blog Hop and Star Flower

Welcome to my day on the Coastal Mist Blog Hop! I made a beautiful wall hanging called Star Flower that I get to share with you today.Star Flower Coastal Mist Blog HopWhen Tammy from Tamarinis asked me if I would like to make something with the beautiful collection Coastal Mist and be part of her blog hop I immediately said yes! The batiks are from Island Batik and the colors are gorgeous, these are some of my favorite colors.Coastal Mist Blog Hop

I live along the Mississippi river and can actually find some shells but they are very small. Living along the ocean would be neat!Star flower batik quilt made with Coastal Mist from Island Batik

My wall hanging isn’t very big, it measures  approximately 22″ x 22″ and could also be used as a table topper.Star flower quilt on design wall

I am working on a pattern that I hope to share soon!

  14. Hello Connie! I was awakened by one of our cats, Hunter, to be fed at 5:00 A.M. and then to be let outside. She generally waits until after 6 to do this routine when she stays inside at night. For some reason, I could not go back to sleep. Crazy fur babies! Oh well, I get the honor of being the first one to comment on this gorgeous Table Topper (that is what I will do with mine when you supply the pattern…LOL). I am not always a Batiks fan, but some of the fabrics are beautiful; like the fabrics you chose to use for this project! It is so perfect, although other fabrics of course work beautifully, for your “Showcase” piece, this fabric was perfect in my opinion. Oh dear, I am babbling once again. LOL. Thank you Connie for sharing and I know that I am anxiously awaiting this pattern. Have a spectacular day!

    1. See because of my babbling….look at all the other great comments you received before I posted mine! LOL.
