2017 Patchwork Quilt Along

The 2017 Patchwork Quilt Along started yesterday, this is Fat Quarter Shop’s annual charity fundraiser for the Make A Wish foundation. Every month on the 15th there will be a new free block you can download and also a video that will show you how to make the block.
I started working on my blocks using fabric I had left over from my Fat Eighth Frenzy quilt that I made using Miss Kate by Bonnie & Camille. I had a Fat Eighth bundle and also made a Miss Kate Pouch. I only had a little bit of the fabrics left so I’m not sure what I’ll use next month. I might have to pick up their new collection or I might just make this a scrappy quilt.
Here is a picture of the quilt, isn’t it beautiful!

How fun to use little fabric scraps to actually make a quilt. I went back and looked at your zippered pouch and like it very much. I need to sew some zippered pouches for birthday gifts…when I get my sewing machine unpacked once again. Lovely week to you…
