Snail Trail AccuQuilt Die

The Mississippi river is frozen and there aren’t any snails down along the shore but…..I did have my Snail’s Trail quilt out there! I am so ready for winter to be over!

I am tickled to be taking part in the GO! BIG blog hop and when I was contacted about receiving the GO! BIG electric cutter and a GO! BIG die I couldn’t wait for the box to get here! I also chose the GO! Snail’s Trail die, that was a hard decision as I liked all of them! I was given a fat quarter bundle of Downtown Abbey by Andover Fabric to use for my project for the blog hop.

I couldn’t wait to use it and…..I cut up all the Downtown Abbey before I realized I had forgotten to take pictures. I have several other projects I’ll be sharing soon and will show the steps for putting together this block. This die is so neat! One cut gives you all the pieces for one color of the block. I also used 9 pieces of muslin for my blocks. They are huge…..12 1/2″ blocks!

It is very safe to use and I did a post earlier where I showed my grand-daughters helping me cut with it. If you missed it check it out here.

Snail Trail AccuQuilt Die

I have to be honest and say that I had never made the Snail’s Trail block in all my years of quilting. This die makes it so easy and I just love it!
