I just finished sewing the binding down on this table topper that was made using 2 1/2 inch squares from my stash. Pretty wild isn’t it!
I was experimenting and see things I would do differently….for example I had way too many pieces coming together in the center….note to self – one block not two. Then I would have to change the next row and so on.
This all started from something I saw the other day, a really neat block but of course I had to play with it a little and change things. I would still like to make one like the photo below.
I think this would be beautiful in a line of coordinated fabrics and a matching accent color.
Now this photo…..either I have a REALLY big cat or a very small table topper….or it is the angle. Bella isn’t that big and the piece is about 24 inches. Now if Simon had been around you wouldn’t be able to see any of it!
We are supposed to get hit with a big snow storm this evening but we are ready. Plenty of food, LP, wood, generator and…………lots of fabric!
Question of the day – do you call them Table Toppers or Center Pieces? I have always said center piece and at first when someone would mention a table topper…..I had no idea what it was.
