Mini Tote Bag – Easy Tutorial!

Yesterday I made this cute little mini bag, it is a mini, mini…..notice my cutting board….it is 5 inches wide.Mini Tote Bag - Easy Tutorial I think I’m going to have to make another of these so both of my granddaughters can have one. Maybe I need to take a bag this size when I go shopping for fabrics 🙂

I found the link for the Friendship Bag tutorial by Rachel at ps i quilt if you would like to make one. (link no longer works) The fabric I used was Terraine by Kate Spain.

Notice how the quilting was done without a batting and then the bag was lined.

This month the Scrappy Rainbow Challenge color is brown. I haven’t started on my string blocks yet but thought I would share this little piece I have had hanging on my wall in my quilt room.

    What a cute little bag…you could make one to carry your money in when you go fabric shopping, but it's not nearly big enough to hold the purchases! LOL

    Yikes! I just got home from the knitting shop in Dubuque. I wish I had had that bag with me—it would have saved me allot of money, but I wouldn't have had as much fun. Let's just say there is ALLOT of sock knitting in my future!
